Gorizia sits beautifully between the historic valleys of Isonzo and Vipacco, sheltered to the north by the stunning Julian Alps and bordered by the gentle Isonzo River. The family has lovingly cared for this land for three generations. It was a brave woman named Bianca who first started tending the soil, and her daughter Anna continued her legacy, revitalizing and expanding the family business. Today, the grandchildren, Enrico and Carlo Alberto Agostinis, are happily tending the vineyards and managing the winery. The name Amandum pays tribute to their mother and grandmother, reflecting their deep love for this land and its wines. In these vineyards, grapes are grown with care for the environment and a focus on sustainability. By blending traditional farming methods with modern technology, along with careful plant care, low yields, and the best cellar practices, the Agostinis family creates excellent wines that truly capture the unique character of this special terroir.
