The company founders, Domenica and Beppe, started sharing their passion by selling their very first White Alba truffle back in 1968. Back then, their cozy restaurant “Da Beppe,” located in the charming heart of Alba town, was recommended by the Michelin guide as a wonderful spot for mushroom and truffle enthusiasts. In 1980, they founded Tartuflanghe as a natural next step, creating the first truffle specialties to allow all truffle lovers to enjoy delicious products and out-of-season delicacies. Interestingly, Tartuflanghe went on to produce the world’s first truffle pasta, which earned the “”Best New Product of the Year”” award at the Fancy Food Summer Show in New York in 1992. That was just the beginning—since then, many new and exciting products have followed, all crafted with authentic Piedmont recipes.

Today, Tartuflanghe’s products can be found in the most prestigious shops, gourmet outlets, and restaurants both in Italy and around the world. We ensure top quality by carefully selecting our raw materials and blending tradition with innovation and modern technology. Trifulot in the Piedmontese dialect means little truffle, and this special sweet from Tartuflanghe comes from a delightful original recipe from the Langhe region. In 2005, Tartuflanghe launched their Chocolate line, and by 2007, they proudly became the first company to produce traditional truffle pralines in both 14g and 7g mini sizes. The highlight of this praline is the Piedmont IGP hazelnut, carefully hand-collected, selected, and carefully checked. The Tonda Gentile variety is grown on the beautiful hills of the Langhe and is celebrated worldwide for its outstanding flavor and unmistakable aroma—they really are the best hazelnuts around. In 2024, Trifulot received a stylish packaging update inspired by the elegant Art Nouveau buildings of old Turin, adding a lovely touch to these wonderful sweet bites.
