Bricco delle Ciliegie cru, is a mosaic of small parcels across the Vittoria Alta hillside, on sandy, calcareous soil at around 350–390 metres above sea level, east/south-east facing. Grapes are gently pressed and fermented predominantly in stainless steel at controlled temperature, with a small portion vinified in non-toasted French barriques. Aged several months on lees, mostly in steel, to build texture while preserving freshness. Pale straw yellow with green highlights. white flowers and citrus zest, moving into ripe pear, bitter almond and a fine mineral edge. On the palate it is bright and vertical, carried by lively acidity and a saline, almond-tinged finish of very good length. A precise, energetic expression of Roero Arneis.
