In 1900, Battista Boeri rented one of the municipality’s olive presses for two years and began producing and selling olive oil. This marked the start of a long-standing tradition that continues to the present day. Today, Franco, the latest member of the Boeri family, alongside his father, dedicates his time to their shared passion: working at the family olive mill, following in the footsteps of his ancestors who managed the operation for four generations.
All products from the “ROI” company originate from the Argentina Valley, a region renowned for its olive groves and high-quality olive oil. Located in the San Remo hinterland, the Argentina Valley has a long-standing tradition of olive cultivation dating back to Roman times. The region’s characteristic terraced landscape and mild climate contribute to producing oils of superior quality and delicate flavor.
Roi Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced through the first cold pressing of Taggiasca olives using traditional heavy millstones. The process is carefully managed to avoid heating the olive paste, thereby preserving the oil’s nutritional value.
All sauces and condiments produced by Roi are preserved in Extra Virgin Olive Oil and do not contain preservatives or artificial coloring agents. The high quality of the oil ensures their optimal preservation.
