From a steep, historic parcel within the Ginestra cru (45-year-old vines), this Riserva-only bottling is produced solely in exceptional vintages, with roughly 2,500 bottles made in 2020. Deep ruby in color, it opens slowly into dried cherry, licorice, mint, smoky wood and stony minerality — finessed rather than massive, with silky, authoritative tannins and a long, focused finish built for decades of evolution.
Fermented and macerated for around 45 days, then aged approximately 5 to 7 years in French barriques before a further 48 months in bottle — the estate’s most patient, longest-aged wine, matured in a cold rock tunnel that preserves remarkable freshness.
