Siopè comes from a single cru within the Giungano vineyards, in the hills north of the estate — parcels selected for their notably high limestone content, distinct from the sandier, coastal Castellabate site. The cru covers roughly 1.3 hectares, farmed organically, and is dedicated exclusively to this wine. Deep, dark garnet in the glass. The nose is layered and brooding — ripe plum and blackcurrant touched with mint, grilled sage, sweet tobacco and allspice, with the oak lending a discreet frame rather than dominating. On the palate the wine is dense and vinous, with silky, fleshy fruit set against lively acidity and firm, grippy tannins that build through the finish. Dark cherry and a touch of cranberry give way to savoury herbs and citrus peel on a long, structured close. Powerful yet poised, Siopè rewards patience — a wine built for the cellar as much as the table
